Christine Jensen Jazz Orchestra sera en concert le 6 juillet prochain au Festival de Jazz de Montréal pour jouer la musique de son dernier album ”Habitat” C’est un rendez-vous au Gesù à 22h30!

Après avoir ébloui la critique et le public avec son précédent opus, Treelines, couronné d’un Juno en 2011, la brillante saxophoniste et compositrice canadienne Christine Jensen a réussi un coup de maître: faire encore mieux avec son dernier album, Habitat, loué pou sa richesse et sa précision, lui valant un autre Juno et révélant l’ampleur de son talent à la tête de son redoutable Jazz Orchestra.

Having floored the critics and fans alike her previous album, Treelines, awarded a Juno in 2011, brilliant Canadian saxophonist and composer Christine Jensen has pulled off a masterstroke: Surpassing it with her latest release, Habitat, hailed for its rich musicality and precision, bringing her another Juno and fully revealling the extent of her talents as musician and leader of her redoubtable Jazz Orchestra
